The flexible body protects the double hooks as the lure moves through vegetation, then collapses when a fish strikes. Its drainage system helps expel trapped water. Alternate between a short pull and a pause to work the edge of a lily pad bed. Reduce the amplitude if the lure jumps: the front should push the water while remaining in contact with the surface. A measured retrieve allows you to work a narrow opening effectively.
