The joint allows for slow-speed movement, followed by a more pronounced roll as you accelerate. Try a slow retrieve followed by a short burst of speed as you exit the current to change the presentation without any sudden movements. The avalanche lock keeps the tail aligned during the cast. As it sinks, the 79S also allows you to delay the retrieve to reach a lower layer. Choose the descent time based on the bottom conditions and maintain a controlled drift during this phase.
