Designed for trout fishing in streams and small rivers, the Ito Craft Emishi 50S is handcrafted in Japan. Its body is covered with a thin aluminium sheet whose refractive index gives it a very natural sheen. Quiet, versatile and very easy to use, it swims naturally in a straight line but is particularly responsive to twitching thanks to its flat sides. It then produces a wriggling sound like a panicked fry. Its reactivity and mobility mean it can also be used for upstream fishing or in areas with weak currents. Its characteristic swimming action is a blend of ultra-tight wobbling and rolling. Thanks to its patented balancing system (M.S.W), it casts with surgical precision at long distances, never stalls and never snags on the bottom thanks to the positioning of its lip. The EMISHI 50s is available in a 3.8 g Sinking version and a 5.0 g Heavy Sinking version (50s Type 2), and is fitted with fine iron hooks to optimize the bite, so it's advisable to change the rig when targeting big fish.
