The Onimaru is a metal blade with a special balance based on research into the behaviour of marine predators. Its horizontal swimming posture faithfully imitates the silhouette of a small fish on the run, emitting high-pitched vibrations at any retrieve speed without stalling. The Onimaru has clearly visible lateral lines to quickly attract the attention of predators and the advantage of its rolling swivel mounted hook is to considerably reduce the risk of breakage or stalling by limiting twisting and the fish's leaning on the lure during the fight. Its overall design also considerably reduces the risk of entanglement between the lure's hook and the leader. The Sawara Tune version is designed for faster fishing and is more resistant to the sharp teeth of fish.
