The Czech Nymph H incorporates Hanak’s “H” design into a reel intended for nymph fishing. The enclosed spool cage holds long, thin leaders securely around the spool. The mechanism combines two ball bearings and a unidirectional roller bearing. The drag is precisely adjustable for small-diameter tips. Choose size 13 for a lightweight nymph setup; size 35 better balances a longer rod and accommodates a WF5F with 50 m of backing. The two models cover, in particular, #1–3 and #3–5; first choose the capacity that matches your fly line and backing, then select the finish.
