Hends Mallard Duck - Plumes de canard colvert

Hends Mallard Duck Large are mallard duck feathers with a slightly speckled pattern. Their stated length of 5 to 8 cm allows for several cutting options depending on the part of the fly being tied.

The fibers can be used to form mayfly wings, cerci, or the legs of drowned flies and nymphs. Hends also mentions shrimp and certain streamers. The packet contains 10 feathers; the Natural, Rust, and Yellow versions allow you to choose the shade while retaining the feather’s natural pattern.
