A leader that’s too flexible can wrap around the main line when casting or in the current. Amnesia nylon provides stiffness; increasing the diameter enhances this effect but also restricts the bait’s movement. Therefore, choose the diameter based on the length of the leader, the current, and the size of the bait. The line comes on 100-meter spools for preparing rigs. Inspect the line after each contact with rocks or shells, then replace any damaged sections.
