Advance combines HMPE fibers with polyamides to reinforce the surface against abrasion. It retains flexibility while minimizing stretch, which is useful for controlling the lure and detecting bites.
The Advance manufacturing process brings HMPE molecules to the surface of the line to create an abrasion-resistant layer. The nylon remains flexible, with reduced stretch to effectively transmit the line’s tension.
The G2 close-coil winding minimizes line memory when unwinding. The line is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater fishing, particularly for predatory fish and surfcasting.
Available lengths are 150 m, 300 m, or 3,200 m, depending on the diameter. The 0.25 mm diameter has a breaking strength of 6.1 kg; the 0.30 mm diameter has a breaking strength of 8.2 kg. The 0.40 mm diameter is available in 300 m for 15 kg.
