Close-set wraps concentrate the weight on a short section of the shank. A longer distribution prevents the entire thickness from forming at the thorax. Choose the diameter based on the space left under the dubbing or chenille. Cover the ends with tying thread to smooth out the transitions and prevent a step in the body. ODD thread is supplied in 1-meter lengths.
