The 4X4 model prioritizes field of view, with a 156mm-wide frame and 126mm temples. This shape helps reduce glare from the sides or above, which is useful when wading, boating, or when the sun is low in the sky. Polarflite polarized lenses improve visibility on the water’s surface by reducing direct reflections off the water. The choice depends simply on the light conditions: brown to maintain balanced vision in bright sunlight, and yellow to enhance clarity when light is low. Both versions feature the same black frame made from bio-based castor oil.
