Hends Mayfly Body - Corps flottants d’éphémères

The Hends Mayfly Body is a pre-formed body made of buoyant material for large mayfly imitations. It allows you to prepare the abdomen separately before continuing to tie it onto the hook.

The method recommended by Hends involves folding the body in half over a needle, then creating the segments using tying thread to reinforce the assembly. The body is then attached to the hook. A permanent marker can be used to differentiate the color of the back if the pattern calls for it.

The selected options combine the Medium or Large sizes with red, black, or green colors. The size is chosen based on the silhouette of the mayfly being imitated; the other parts of the dry fly are then tied around this abdomen.
