Vision Hybrid Tapered Tips are designed to complement a Hybrid shooting head or another compatible shooting head. You can choose the tip based on the desired length and required density, without having to worry about tip weight. The floating, intermediate, and sinking versions allow you to adapt to the water column you’re fishing.

Hybrid Tips simplify the assembly of casting heads by allowing anglers to choose primarily the length and density. Vision has calibrated the weight of the tips to work with Hybrid, Hammer, TNT, ACE Skagit, and ACE Switch heads. A floating tip keeps the rig high in the water column, while a medium-density or sinking tip helps bring the fly down. Shorter lengths offer greater compactness, while longer versions provide better control during the drift. The right choice therefore depends on the current, depth, and type of fly being used.
