The JAW-20 weighs 199g and holds 140m of 0.20mm line. The JAW-30 weighs 233g and holds 200m of 0.25mm line: two models to compare based on the desired line capacity and the overall weight.

The JAW-40, 45, and 55 offer greater capacity, weighing 259g, 290g, and 422g, respectively. Retrieve length does not simply increase with the model number: it reaches 85 cm on the 40, 79 cm on the 45, and 83 cm on the 55.

The mechanism features a brass pinion and 3+1 bearings. The graphite rotor is balanced by the RES II system, the pick-up is made of stainless steel, and the oiled felt multi-disc drag is adjustable on the spool.
