The Inspira is a freshwater spinning reel featuring a TCA aluminum frame and a carbon/stainless steel multi-disc drag system. The HA versions retrieve line faster; the SHA versions add a shallow spool. These differences allow you to adjust the line capacity and retrieval speed to suit your setup.
The Inspira’s model suffixes provide two key distinctions. The HA version is fast; the SHA maintains this speed with a shallow spool. In the 2500 series, the A model retrieves 78 cm per revolution, compared to 88 cm for the HA and SHA.
The 2500SHA holds 150 m of 0.8 PE line, while the 2500A and 2500HA offer a spool capacity of 110 m of 0.30 mm line. The C2000SHA also offers a capacity of 150 m of 0.8 PE line on a 202-gram reel.
The TCA aluminum construction limits frame twisting under load. The Flite Drive is paired with an HDG II gear system featuring a brass pinion, and the handle screws directly into the frame.
The aluminum spool features a rubber band to prevent the braided line from slipping. The carbon/stainless steel drag system provides a maximum drag of 5 kg on the C2000 models, 8 kg on the 2500/3000 models, and 11 kg on the 4000/C5000 models.
