The G-Control is a spinning rod series designed for predatory fish, constructed from 24/30/40T carbon fiber with Fuji O guides in a K-mount configuration. The models are suitable for applications ranging from very light lures to 80g lures. The action varies by model, as do the length and casting range.
Choosing a G-Control starts with the weight of the lures. The 6’6’’ XUL (0.8–5g) has a solid tip, while the 6’6’’ UL (3–10g) features a moderate-fast action. The L model of the same length handles 5–14g with a fast action.
The more powerful versions cater to different needs: in the 7’0’’ size, the ML covers 7–21g, the M covers 10–30g, and the MH covers 15–40g. The latter has an extra-fast action. The 8’0’’ and 9’0’’ H models are rated for 30–80g.
The 24/30/40T carbon and K-mount Fuji O guides are standard across the line. Each rod breaks down into two sections.
