The Ceymar A is a spinning reel featuring a multi-disc drag system and Flite Drive mechanical mechanism. Available in several sizes, the XA version retrieves more line per turn than the A. This choice allows you to adjust the retrieval speed without changing reel sizes.
The Ceymar A and XA stand out for their retrieval speed. In both the 2500 and 3000 models, the A version retrieves 68 cm per crank turn, compared to 84 cm for the XA. Both gearheads weigh the same: 236 g.
The difference is evident in the 4000 size: 79 cm for the A and 97 cm for the XA, at 288 g. The faster version therefore allows the angler to retrieve more line with each turn, without having to crank the handle as fast.
The Flite Drive reduces friction at the axle. The reel features 7+1 ball bearings, a brass pinion, and an aluminum spool and handle. The handle shape varies by size: I-shaped up to the 2500, T-shaped on the 3000 and 4000, and an ergonomic handle on the larger sizes.
