The barbless Vibrax Shad features a spinning blade, a brass bell, and an anti-twist mechanism. It comes factory-equipped with barbless hooks. The No. 2 (6g) and No. 3 (8g) sizes cover two weight classes for a swimming depth between 0.6m and 1.2m.
On this Shad version, the lack of a barb is part of the original design. The spoon retains a stainless steel shaft and the Vibrax’s two-piece body, whose free-spinning mechanism limits line twist.
When retrieved, the blade produces flashes of light and the brass bell emits a low-frequency sound. This combination is used for fishing for predatory fish in calm waters and for salmonids in rivers.
The blade operates at a 45° angle, with a swimming range of 0.6 m to 1.2 m. The choice between sizes No. 2 and No. 3 corresponds to 6 g and 8 g, respectively.
