The bend before the eye provides extended support for the soft plastic’s nose. The head features a matte black nickel finish, and the hook has a needle-sharp point. Rig the lure straight, then make sure it has enough room to compress and release the tip. Adjust the weight-to-hook ratio to match the body used: a Texas rig that’s too short or too tight makes it difficult to set the hook, even with a low-snag presentation.
