Hends Crimped Flash Hair is a flat flash strip that is 1.5 mm wide and 25 cm long. The iridescent fibers are crimped to create several small reflective surfaces along the strand.

It is used as an accent on large streamers, particularly on the sides. Hends recommends one or two strands on each side: this amount adds sparkle to the silhouette without replacing the materials that form the wing or body.
