The Jackson Z-Pivot 120 is a 12-centimeter floating stickbait designed for surface fishing for bass and other predatory fish. Weighing 28 grams, it casts far to reach feeding areas and cover points, beaches, jetties, and flats. It comes to life with a steady walk-the-dog retrieve, punctuated by pauses and more aggressive bursts when the fish are following but not biting.

The Z-Pivot 120 is the lure of choice when you need to cover an area quickly with a surface lure that stays under control in windy conditions and choppy water. Its compact design makes it ideal for powerful casts from the shore and allows the stickbait to work in wide zigzags. With a continuous walk-the-dog retrieve, it helps pinpoint fish activity; with short pauses, it lets the wake do the work and triggers hesitant fish. Sharper, low-rod retrieves cause the lure to dive a few centimeters, which is effective on finicky fish. It targets sea bass, hunting bonito and skipjack tuna, and yellowtail, and can also be used for pike in the summer over shallows and weed beds.
