The Gunki Drag Spin 130 S is a slow-sinking pencil bait equipped with a paddle and capable of fishing in very little water. It's perfect for soliciting fish lurking in weedbeds in hyper shallow areas (pond tail, heavy plant cover, etc.). It sinks gently, flat, leaving enough time after contact with the water to bring it back without it diving headlong into the weed. It can be used as a continuous retrieve and swims at all speeds. You can, of course, pause your retrieve to trigger an attack. Just hold the rod tight during these pauses! It has two pull rings. The one in the mouth allows the lure to move and hold in very little water and/or at very low speed, or on the other hand to make ultra-fast retrieves. The front ring allows the lure to stay in the water for longer. This position is ideal for slow, deeper, open-water fishing, where you can get the lure to swim at the desired height by placing a Gunki Clip Weight on the belly (at the level of the first triple). But the biggest advantage of this two-ring design is that you can change the lure's "shallow" mode to one suited to deep exploration (fish on breaks, close to the bottom... etc.). Simply place a lead clip on the mouth ring and attach it to your line via the front ring. It will then tip over sharply on release phases and transform into a perfect reaction lure for pull-fishing as you would with your paddle shads. The only difference is that you'll be able to adjust the lure's descent speed (depending on the weight of the clip-on weight) and it'll be much more resistant to the multiple catches you'll make with it! A versatile lure par excellence. Adaptable to pike positioning according to season and position.
