The Rio Vanda boots feature a traditional fabric construction, with an upper that is sewn and glued to the midsole. This design provides a solid foundation for fly fishing situations where you need to walk, wade into the water, and maintain a minimum level of support. The durable PVC toe cap protects the area most exposed to impacts and abrasion. The EVA midsole adds a protective layer without unnecessarily weighing down the shoe. The felt outsole provides good traction while wading and can be fitted with Vision tungsten spikes if the terrain requires it.
