The Keeling Pop140 is a 140mm floating saltwater popper for trevally and tuna. Its cupped face throws spray on each pull and the body stays on the surface between pops. The 53g casting weight includes the size 2/0 treble hooks.
Cast past the edge and work the lure across it with short pops. Pick up slack between strokes; when the lure reaches the spot you want to hold, pause and let it float. For fish feeding on the move in open water, shorten the gaps between pops to cover ground while the school is still within reach.
Developed in the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, the popper has a stainless steel through-wire and a honeycomb core. Match your rod’s casting range to the 53g rigged weight of this 140mm model. The eight options differ in colour and come with the same size 2/0 trebles.
