The Big Mama Leader is designed to meet the specific demands of pike and predator fishing: large flies, violent strikes, sharp teeth, and the need to change streamers quickly. All three versions feature a Mustad Fastach™ clip, which speeds up fly changes without having to redo the entire rig. Classic is the most versatile option, featuring 160 cm of fluorocarbon connected to 50 cm of 35-lb line via a swivel, making it easy to replace the metal tip. Stealth prioritizes discretion with a leader made entirely of 0.90mm Space fluorocarbon, useful when the water is clear or when fish are following but not striking. Wire is a 50-centimeter metal section designed to be added to an existing leader, making it convenient for quickly reinforcing a rig that’s already in place.
