The Blob Special CHIB features a thick body made of 15mm fibers. It is designed for reservoir flies where the volume of the caterpillar makes up the bulk of the fly.

Choose your declination

To tie a blob, leave a short section free behind the eye before beginning the wraps. The 15mm fibers are folded back with each wrap to distribute the chenille evenly around the shank. Tighten the wraps according to the desired density, without filling the hook’s eye. A short head finishes the tie without trapping the front part of the body. The CHIB comes in 1-meter lengths.
