DOHIKU DKA is a very fine, lightweight kapok dubbing for dry fly bodies. Its fibers absorb very little water and spread easily over the thread to form a fine strand.
DKA kapok is suitable for abdomens where you want to limit the volume and mass. Stretch out a nearly transparent pinch of it, then gradually roll it onto the thread: just a small amount is enough to cover the underwrap. On a small mayfly, keep the body tapered without overloading the rear section. The hackle or CDC then provides its share of support for the fly.
