NBY Glossy Yarn adds a glossy sheen simply by wrapping it around the fly. It can be used on nymphs, dry flies, and streamers, with the amount of yarn adjusted to suit the fly's size.

Choose your declination
For a dry fly, limit the number of layers of Glossy Yarn to keep the abdomen relatively thin. A streamer can have a fuller body under its wing. In both cases, prepare a tapered base and wrap the thread in tight, overlapping turns. If the fly requires segmentation, add a contrasting ring that remains visible against this shiny body. NBY is packaged in 40-meter spools.
