The mask and the ears have different textures: keep the samples separate before blending them together. For a slender abdomen, sort out the long hairs and work mainly with the short ones. For a more tousled thorax, keep a few guard hairs. Prepare small, uniform batches if you’re making a series of the same pattern. Adding synthetic fibers alters the sheen without replacing the hare base.
