The cutting direction is what makes the Hends Furry Band so special. The rabbit skin is cut across the grain to create a strip designed for the voluminous heads of large streamers. When wrapped around the hook, the hairs fan out around the front of the fly.
With each wrap, tuck the fibers already in place to keep them out of the way of the next wrap. This preserves the volume and distribution of the fur around the head. The line combines natural shades, bold colors, and patterns depending on the variant, to match this part with the rest of the streamer.
