Superior Leader is a 100% copolymer monofilament designed for heavy-gauge leaders. It combines low stretch with shock-absorbing properties as tension increases during the fight.
The Superior Leader is designed to transmit the hookset without completely eliminating elasticity. It thus maintains a degree of shock absorption as the fish pulls closer and the amount of line on the reel decreases.
Its resistance to abrasion and knotting complements its linear strength. The 0.65mm has a breaking strength of 24kg, the 0.80mm 37kg, and the 1mm 60kg. The thickest sizes reach 91kg at 1.40mm.
Each spool contains 100m.
