The 150-meter spools start at 0.16 mm; the 300-meter spools start at 0.20 mm. 1,000-meter spools are also available in 0.30 mm, 0.40 mm, 0.50 mm, and 0.80 mm.
At 0.30 mm, the breaking strength is 10 kg, regardless of the length supplied. Choosing between 150m, 300m, and 1000m therefore allows you to adjust the thread supply without changing the wire gauge.
