Since its inception, the GUNKI ROCKSTAR soft plastic lure family has earned a solid reputation among anglers. The smallest size (45) has become a must-have for light tackle fishing for trout and perch. Its effectiveness is truly impressive! In practice, we found that we needed a slightly larger size when fishing in larger bodies of water, using heavier jig heads, or simply offering a size better suited to the prey size the fish are targeting. So we designed the ROCKSTAR 59 to meet these needs, while maintaining the very specific specifications of the 45mm version. With its distinct family resemblance (!), it looks just like the other ROCKSTAR models—resembling a sculpin or a goby. But above all, we’ve paired this ROCKSTAR 59 with a lively rubber body and a rather slender tail. The result is a sturdy lure that comes to life at low speeds and/or when weighted with small jig heads. The versatility of this lure, combined with its attractiveness, should quickly make it a “must-have” in the tackle boxes of “specimen” anglers. It’s a real magnet for beautiful trout and big perch!
