The body and rotor are designed in Zaion V carbon; a new, stiffer and stronger material. The rotor carries a hollow aluminum Air Bail pick-up hoop. Its crank, screwed directly into the frame, is lightened to accentuate smooth rotation. The ATD brake is progressive and powerful, thanks to a larger clamping surface. The Tough Digigear control wheel offers unique spinning power and pushes the reel's lifespan to the limit.
