Tungsten Faceted weights anchor the nymph's head while creating a unique surface effect. The facets reflect light depending on the fly’s orientation; available finishes include gold, silver, and rose gold.
The slot is designed primarily for jig hooks. Hends also notes that they can be used on straight hooks: check that the bead fits through the eye and sits securely on the hook you’re using before tying the fly. Available diameters are 2.5, 3, 3.5, and 4 mm, with 10 beads per package.
