The sheet form of the Body Stretch Flat Hends allows the tier to choose the width of the strip. This makes it possible to prepare a body tailored to the fly’s size—particularly for a Czech nymph—or to cut strips for other parts of the fly.

One side is glossy, the other matte. The orientation of the strip when it is attached therefore determines the visible appearance of the back. This Flat version is ideal when you prefer to cut your own widths rather than start with a pre-cut strip.
