Illex Maekon 180 SF - 18cm - 48g - Slow Floating

The Illex Maekon 180 SF is a two-part articulated swimbait designed to seduce large pike and black bass. At 180 mm long and weighing just 48 g, this floating lure features the Mono Flex Joint System, an innovative articulation system offering increased freedom of movement. The rear of the lure, with its fish-like tail, generates a delayed rolling action and additional visual attraction during attack phases. The Maekon 180 SF excels in several types of animation: stop & go close to structures or linear fishing, to efficiently explore grass beds or banks. On continuous retrieve, it produces a powerful wobbling action similar to that of a large crankbait. Designed for use with Medium Heavy spinning or baitcasting rods, it displaces a substantial volume of water, making this lure highly attractive to European predators. Fitted with 6062-1X-NP#2BN hooks (with a feathered model for even more attraction), it moves at a depth of 0 to 0.3 m. For added versatility, you can adjust its density with a John Weight, making it suspending, slow-sinking or fast-sinking as required. A must-have lure for all exploratory fishing.
