DRT Klash Ghost

The DRT Klash Ghost Low is the largest model in the KLASH family and is built as a tuning platform rather than a single-action swimbait. The production Low Float specification is approximately 235 g, with a 330 mm body and a total length of around 370 mm when fitted with the V-tail. Its three-piece articulated body gives the Ghost more freedom of movement than a conventional two-piece swimbait. The removable lip, interchangeable tails and joint-control parts can be combined to alter the amplitude, direction changes and running depth. Depending on configuration, the Ghost can move from controlled swimming to wider glides or sharper direction changes, allowing the same lure to be adapted to different water layers and fish behaviour. Depth control is one of the Ghost’s defining features. With the appropriate Lip-In / deep-lip configuration and joint setup, DRT indicates that the lure can reach depths of up to about 6 m. At the other end of the spectrum, the Low Float body can also be worked much higher in the water column. The body also uses reinforced rolling swivels at the hook hangers, designed to reduce leverage during the fight, and the front section includes provisions for additional rigging or tuning. Because the Ghost weighs roughly 235 g before any additional terminal tackle or tuning parts are considered, it requires a genuine giant-bait setup: rod, reel, line and connections must all be rated for repeated casting and control of this class of lure.
