The Illex Chibitarel Deadrise is a customised version of the GANTAREL JR. which positions itself on its side like a dying fish and rises to the surface of the water when you stop its retrieve. Bringing in your line at medium to fast retrieve speeds, the CHIBITAREL DEADRISE reproduces the escape of a forage fish: S-swimming. If you bring your line back slowly, it will swim sideways like a dying fish. It retains the striking realism that characterizes the GANTAREL 'Jointed swimbaits' series. Its body, made up of 3 articulated parts, gives it a swaying swimming action that mimics a sun perch. The front hook has been positioned on the right-hand side to optimize results when the lure rises to the surface or when fishing on film. An eyelet at the tail of the lure can accommodate an extra hook or any other device designed to further enhance the attractiveness of this surprising lure. All to make it even more irresistible.
