The ClapTail causes a metal propeller to strike a rear fin during retrieval. The resulting impacts produce two sound frequencies that accompany the lure’s surface swim. Three sizes allow you to adjust the lure’s volume and weight.
The ClapTail comes to life during the retrieve: the stainless-steel tail propeller and the rear blade strike each other to produce its characteristic sound. Its reinforced body and balanced design promote long casts and stable swimming on the surface.
A swivel integrated under the belly limits the leverage exerted on the rig during the fight. The treble hooks are VMC 7548s.
The CT75 measures 7.5 cm and weighs 11 g, the CT90 measures 9 cm and weighs 16 g, and the CT110 measures 11 cm and weighs 25 g. The smallest model thus offers the same sound mechanism in a lighter, easier-to-cast size.
