Regal Tube Fly Head

Regal introduces its very first Tube Fly Head! This chuck-style vise head comes with 3 pins and is compatible with the Revolution and Medallion series. Designed for maximum flexibility in tube fly tying, this vise offers a firm, secure grip for a variety of tube sizes. This head fits perfectly with two of Regal's most popular lines, offering great versatility. Comes with 3 spindles: Small: 1/32 inch straight diameter tapering to 1/16 inch (.8 to 1.6mm). Medium: 1/16" straight tapering to 3/32" (1.6 to 2.4mm). Large: 3/32" straight diameter tapering to 1/8" (2.4 to 3.2mm). Pins have a 2 ¾-inch section of uniform diameter that tapers to a wider end with flat sides: This ensures a secure hold on tubes. The pins can be cut to shorter lengths and used in either direction, offering additional adaptability for mounting specific tubular flies. Tube mounting: Slide the tube onto the spindle, then insert the smaller end of the spindle into the mandrel and tighten, pinching the tube between the mandrel and the tapered/flat end of the spindle.
