Textreme Microchenille 0.8 mm is one of the basic materials used in artificial fly tying. This synthetic chenille, the result of early textile developments applied to fly tying, features very short, sparse fibers held together by a special bonded core. With no shiny or iridescent effects, it is ideal for creating compact bodies and natural flies that perfectly imitate discreet prey. Also very useful for creating body extensions, it is ideally suited to fine, realistic imitations, including in alternative fishing approaches where the sobriety of the materials is an asset. Available in a 3-metre card (size 0.8 mm - 1/32"), it is also available in a spool-mounted version for even more practical use. A must-have for riggers looking for simplicity, efficiency and naturalness.
