HTDS are suitable for streamers that require a heavier head than a classic nymph. The 7, 8, and 10 mm diameters correspond to 3, 4, and 9 g, respectively: this change in weight matters more than a simple change in head size. Match the rod, line, and tip to the casting weight. Also check that the slit on the hook allows the line to pass through and that there is enough space behind the eye to attach the materials. The beads are gold-colored and sold individually.
