A fast retrieve will bring your lure to the surface, while a slower, controlled retrieve will present it below the surface. The first research element in the development of the RISER BAIT range was to reproduce the escape of prey towards the surface. In tests, we found that the majority of bites were made when the lure was rising towards the surface.
